In preview build 2 we introduced the core chat component to allow team collaboration at both a project and at a ticket level.
One major use case for project chat centers around the process of refining the project's backlog. The latest build includes enhancements intended to further round out this experience.
To start, the backlog itself is now easily accessible below the project chat to allow quick access without constant context switching between the chat and backlog.
This backlog provides nearly all of the functionality present on the normal backlog view with a few modifications to improve its integration with chat.
Clicking a ticket in this view will open it in its dedicated tab below the chat to allow quick navigation between multiple tickets.
In addition to all the normal ticket interactions you are able to 'Share' a ticket with the other participants in chat which will add a message to chat to allow them to open the ticket you are currently viewing.
As we iterate on the chat feature we hope to continue to bring it closer to a complete experience for teams managing their project.
